Where does Pittsburgh Porta Pros deliver?

What can we bring to your site?
More than toilets. A standard unit is about 44 by 48 inches on the ground and stands about 92 inches tall, with a 60 to 70 gallon holding tank. That is the workhorse. Past that we run deluxe flushable units, ADA accessible units, restroom trailers and handwashing stations.
For a construction crew, OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) sets the count: one toilet for 20 workers or fewer, then a toilet and urinal per 40 as the crew grows. What else do you rent besides toilets?
Site work needs more than sanitation. We drop roll-off dumpsters in 10 yard, 20 yard and 30 yard sizes. A roll-off delivery needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck, so we check the street first. We also handle septic pumping and grease trap pumping. A residential septic tank is typically pumped every 3 to 5 years, driven by tank size and household size, and a grease interceptor gets pumped when fats, oils, grease and solids hit 25 percent of the liquid depth. Pennsylvania septage falls under DEP's Bureau of Clean Water, so a licensed operator has to name its disposal site. Round out a jobsite with temporary fencing, storage containers and mobile office trailers.
Should you book early in winter?
Yes. Pittsburgh sees about 44.1 inches of snow a year and 113.6 days at or below freezing, per NOAA's 1991-2020 normals for the airport station. Cold weather means winterisation, and the city runs a moratorium on permanent street restoration from November 1 to March 31.
